Frustrations....not with the horses

So, I just found out that my contract is expiring at the end of October. In some ways I'm disappointed...in other ways I'm happy to move on. The only stress is trying to find something else in this market right now. Thankfully, I am in a role that is very transferable to any industry..Human Resources. Cameo Z just blows me away

That little boy does not put one wrong foot down. He is such a good boy for such a youngster. Here I was, with my niece getting him all ready for the National Foal Championships and CSH Breeder show. Driving along, I was watching the time getting nervous as I was worried I was going to get to the RCRA late and miss the first class. We ended up pulling into the parking lot at 9:50am. Cameo Z wins his first CSH Weanling class

What can I say? The little man is an amazing little guy. It seems everything we throw at him...first time in a stall, first time in turnout on his own, weaning, getting on and off a trailer the first time is just uneventful. He really is an amazing little guy. He takes everything calmly, never panics, never freaks out....he just takes it all in stride (a little horsey stride that is!!). The horses are just going bonkers!

I wouldn't call this a special moment.....but how often do we get such a horrible winter with SO much bloomin snow?? I don't know about you...but it seems the past couple of weeks with the up and down weather, my horse is just plain goofy! One day he'll be wonderful...the next day a total spook freak....to very silly and goofy... jumping everything like it's 4 ft high (although I must admit it is fun). They must be getting sick of looking at 4 walls by now and must be itching to be ridden…
