Riding instructors are hard working, dedicated women and men who want to inspire their students to grow, learn and become better horsemen and women.
They are willing to work long hours every weekend for sure, in all kinds of weather. Very often for extremely low wages.
Yet they love their job and wouldn't trade it for any other career.
I know because I too was a riding instructor.
I studied for three years to prepare for the BHSAI exams (the instruction was not cheap).
But I passed and attained the qualifications which now ranked me as a Riding Instructor.
Woo Hoo
But the training lacked one vital ingredient
How I could use this certificate to actually earn a living
There was no Lesson plan formula - Business plan or Marketing blueprint to help me get started in a highly competitive area.
In reality, I had no job and no clients and no idea how to turn my passion to teach into a business.
The good news is - I figured it out and I am sure you have too.
But looking back I realized I could have worked a lot smarter rather than harder and also
capitalized on many opportunities I just let pass me by.
The one Area that I completely ignored was teaching “Equine Behaviour and communication”
Although this area fascinated me I just didn't know where to start.
It certainly wasn't part of my riding instructor curriculum oh sure lots of the information was covered in my training. And a lot of the equine behaviour was stuff I took for granted as a horsewoman. After all I had been around horses all my life.
Bingo - that is the opportunity you are missing out on
What you take for granted as just general horse sense is fascinating information to people new to horses and also very important information that will help keep them safe.
Hidden opportunity - Equine behaviour and communication is a subject that appeals to horse lovers of every discipline and not just those who want to learn to ride.
I was surprised by how many of my students parents wanted to learn about equine behaviour.
I am so confident that you can earn money and expand your lesson program by adding Equine behaviour classes I am offering a Free Lesson Plan
The introduction to Equine Behaviour
Just head over to www.TheHorseWatcher.com to download the lesson plan and Discovery cards.
Check out the “train the trainer page” where you will find step by step instructions on how to use the discovery cards.
Teach - Inspire and Profit
Good Luck
