A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Hello all fellow horse lovers! My name is Jennifer, I have been horse crazed since i first laid eyes on my friend pony at age 4. I started competitively riding at a very young age in dressage, then moving on to hunters. Seventeen years later her I am, still as horse crazed as ever. Enough about me! Lets get to the good stuff, what we all want to hear about, the horses!
I currently own two (or one and a half i like to say) beautiful horses.
Tori is an eight year old Quarter Horse gelding. Our journey together started 2 years ago when i saw an ad in the buy & sell. Although our first ride together was a complete and utter disaster, the next day he was home in my barn. Believed to have had a rough life, Tori has made me work hard to earn and gain his trust. He's a total mommas boy & i might, just might spoil him a tad. He has a very special place in my heart & has a promised forever home right here in my backyard! We have trained in reining, barrel racing, cow events, low level dressage and now we will be making our hunter debut this year.
Trixie is a 11hh Shetland Pony mare. She is my "half-a-horse" as i like to call her. She is Tori's best friend, lover & pasture mate. Our story together started just four short months ago. She was an auction buy. Although i hadn't planned on purchasing any horses at this auction, i some how ended up slipping my hand up when that little pony walked in. Trixie is the proud owner of a huge attitude, it's her way or no way! She fits perfectly into our family and has been the comedian of the neighborhood.
