Hi everyone - I have four donkeys and in my experience, the donkey in this video is just 'singing' along - his/her ears are going up and back, indicating his interest in what the man was doing. At the end, when the man goes to pat him on his forehead, the donk then puts his ears back and head down. When my donkeys do that, it's because they don't much like being patted between the eyes or at the top of their head - from the donkeys' point of view, he can't see where the hand is going and that seems to make them uncomfortable. This is a very common mistake people make with donkeys! If you want to pet them, do it on the neck. Other than that behavior, the donkey seemed to enjoy his singing, and I wouldn't be concerned at all that he was stressed or uncomfortable! JMHO (based on 15 years of donkey ownership!)
I think the poor animal was stressed, curious and having an ear pain?????? I thought "one of those moments we wish they could talk and tell us" Well he did try to talk and tell us...we just can't understand.
