This is turning out to be a big sport in the U.K.   The police say they have the right to use the roads if they want.  It's causing a big stir with animal activists.  I find it disgusting...

hm. trotting flat out on slippery concrete. I'm sure that's great for bones feet and joints. I'd love to chase the filmakers at a sprint in a car barefoot on the highway. HICKS!

For shame. Who are these ignorant people? Based on the side of the road they are on, (and the accents) they are in the UK. There's no standardbred racing tradition there that I know of, but horses are a significant part of the culture and you'd think they would know better.

Looks like a good way to founder a horse.  And the pavement looks wet.
