for 2010 I will have 2 friesian foals available for purchase. Both come from mares who are spectacular sport movers- and beautifully bred and built.
We do terrific training of foals and offer to you young horses who lead and tie and stand, trailer and know the farrier, have all vaccines and wormers done and areterrific examples of young friesians. Both of the mares are bred to Abacus farms friesian stallion, UNO, and he is a 16.+ hand black barouque stallion with 3 very good gaits.
pictures of the two mares in foal are below

Thanks for starting this thread, Susie. We have an Andalusian gelding, coming 5 yr old, for sale. He is 16H, grey, by National Champion stallion, Remate and out of a Pinturero daughter. Imported from Tx as a yearling, he has a sweet nature and has started w/t/c under saddle. Started last fall at 4 1/2. Very smart with smooth gaits. Located south of Guelph, ON.
I love andalusians and I love the hybrid vigor that comes when they are crossed to certain breeds like friesians and morgans and arabians. You get such possibilities and they are so different when the mare is the andalusian or lusitano as compared to the sire being the iberian end. Very different in how the offspring will grow and how they will move.
I have seen many offspring from friesian stallions who are 15.2 bred to 15.3 hands bred to mares like ASB or tb in the same height range and out pops offspring who mature to 16.2 to over 17 hands. It is so interesting!.
Breeding is so much fun and if you do your homework you can always have a huge gift at the end of 11 months.
