The Importance of Ontario’s Horse Industry
There are more than 379,000 horses living in Ontario of which only 30,000 are involved in racing. So what are the other 349,000 horses doing? More than $6.9 billion is invested in fixed assets and investments per year, but what is the money being spent on? The majority of horse owners are women, but who is our average client? Ontario is the 4th largest horse industry in North America and is one of the fastest growing agricultural industries. However, how well do we really know and understand our business?
Please join us for a special presentation and open discussion hosted by the OEF Industry and Horse Facilities Advisory Councils. We will be reviewing the current landscape of the industry, discussing its importance and analyzing its future.
Everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend. For more information or to confirm your attendance please contact me at marketing@horse.on.ca.
