My horse curly has a very jerky horrible canter when we are in an arena. But when we are in the paddock jumping or doing trail riding, he is fine.
It feels lek he is cantering with his back legs and trotting with his back legs
Can you please help me ?

Hi Ambers horse Curly, to me what it looks like is, he's cantering with his front legs and trotting with his back legs, but it stops once she canters him faster not rushing at all but just a working canter. Then he has correct movement, i think she is letting him go too doughy. Too slow. He is a really slim TB and so i think its a matter of building up his hindquarter and back, and getting more impulsion from behind him to get more of a move on in the canter. how can Amber do this?
Hey my pony does that too. Everytime she does that I need to get her do a lot of trot canter transistions and then once she is relaxed about it she is fine. So maybe that could help with your horse :)
