Desperately seeking farm to rent, west Greater Toronto Area, by May 1st, 2009!

Need 6-10 stalls, large paddocks with safe fencing, and a 2-3 bdrm house or apartment on-site, for my well-behaved herd of off-the-track Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds. Arena a bonus, but not essential. Within reasonable commute of Mohawk and Woodbine racetracks (ideally, Campbellville, Milton, Guelph, Cambridge, Waterdown, Erin??). A Barn Hand is required for small, private, startup, Dressage establishment located in Sherkston, Ontario

Duties include Feeding of horses, grooming, blanketing, turnout, mucking out stalls and general running of the barn. There is the potential to become barn manager if we grow.

Initially there will only be two to four horses to take care of. Some other duties would be harrowing the arena, cleaning water buckets and general tidying in the barn. If you are able to help with fencing and other jobs around the farm, that would be a bonus.

We are looking for someone who has lots of experience with Warmblood horses and who loves to be around horses and is not afraid of hard work. We are looking for somone with their own transport, and must be over 18 years of age. Hours would be 8:00am to 11:00am but these may be extended if we grow to more than 4 horses.

13.2 hands flashy, dark bay pony for sale. Been there, done that pony!! Has done Pony CLub and PPG for years, Eventing, Schooling Shows, trails alone or with others. Tons of personality. 17 years young. Would suit intermediate rider.

I am looking for a pair of brown Ariat, tie-up paddock boots size 8 1/2 to trade for a brand new (never used) black, english, bitless bridle. You can see (and read all of the details of the bridle on Kijiji Kitchener ( just do a search for HorseLife Bitless bridle). I will consider selling the bridle for $70.00 (literally never been used).
