It is wonderful to see how much fun you have with your horses.
Sorry for your loss of the mare...what a difficult thing to go through.
Yes, would love to see the offspring.
Thanks for shareing and inspiring us.
I love the exuberance your horses have.
I'm very anxious to learn how you teach your horses to not get too greedy about their treats.
My horse will do a lot of what I ask him when we play on the ground but not with enthusiasm. I suspect I need to get some new things added to keep it interesting for him but I also think it's something I need to change about our playtime.
beautiful clip.
I have decided that you OF COURSE want to see their daughters;)
I found this clip where they are trotting along the fence next to daddy:)

(I also thought it might be a good idea to show that I sometimes do more "real" training, too. Here Fabuloso is starting to get the idea of passage, I am running out of position to get a better look at how he moves)
Beautiful! Every one of them! I am picking my jaw up from the floor now:)

Oh man...
Thank you very much :)
Your horses are georgeous, too, so we are both very fortunate!
Aw, thanks! They are like my babies..

Very agreed.. We are some lucky gals:)
Oh wow! Some would say "fabuloso!!" Am I seeing right that you have to push him over a little so he's not right on top of you?
Thanks for continuing to share.
Keep smiling!
Oh wow, you guys are so great together...the daughters are so pretty too.....

did your Stallion ever run out in front of you when you were walking side by side, or bolt off???? or did you wait until he was really trained to start walking him around? I think that is where I am next, but not sure I can trust him to not get way... thanks Ellen!!
What a cute clip!! I didn't want it to end! I am writing this without reading any other replies, so that I have no "influences". I'm not an experienced horse person, but I can certainly see that you are having a lot of fun! You were having fun and leading by example, not forcing the horse to go over the jump or scaring it into jumping.

I love how your horse is so playful with you! And when you were running around and jumping, the horse(s) stayed right there and didn't wander off. Wonderful to watch!
:) Fun video.... I'm just getting to the point of trotting side by side with my horse.....
The music was "too cool for school" - even for this senior. Went along great with an equally great video! My take is that your horse was looking for assurance he would be safe in the jumping. That the obstacle was no threat to him. My horse also hesitates the first time or two(or three!) he's asked to do anything "new"; but then he gets with it eventually, and does the best job he can.
Ellen, you sneaky girl......you're having way too much fun to be a "real " horse trainer :) LoL Man your sexy boy is really fabulous! (Fabuloso is not too shabby either .....Hahahah :)

Now for somthing completely different. Questions: 1) how come you always carry a whip/stick? 2) sometimes with a bag/flag on the end or not? 3) Fabuloso (and other horses I have seen doing liberty work) sometimes pins his ears when he is following you faster than a walk. Why?

Once again, I am so glad to have found this group who are truly trying to work with horses as individuals, and to learn from them. It is so cool to communicate with horse people who have checked their egos outside the barn. Keep inspiring me everyone :) love seeing your horses.
