This is a follow up on the thread abour what our signals means to the horse. There was so many clips of the last horse that I thought it would be best to split it up a bit in case there were many comments about what happened in the videos.

Again, i would like to focus on the horses signals and their responses to the human signals...

I will post the clips of this horse in seperate postings to make it easy to comment on them individually

This is from the first session with this horse. She is a show jumping pony that competes regurarly, and has a lot of rutine in going to events. I had never met her or her owner before, so we are just getting to know each other. What do you see? How would you describe this horse?
I see a beautful horse that is a quiet thinker that keeps her emotions inside at first. Seems friendly and calm but a little unsure at first. Quickly she starts licking and shows more confidence/trust but stays alert and award of all her surroundings. I thought a fast learner.
Same session continues
At very beginning wants to push against pressure but quickly gives to pressure. She is thinking, learning and licking. She still strikes me as a calm thinker and is food oriented.
This is from the second session the first day. I normally have one one session a day, but some of the horses in this clinic I took out two very short sessions instead.
She needs kind fair training and learned very quickly to give to pressure.Still likes her treats so use them. Helps keep her focused.
Second day
Calm and confident enough to think and learn quickly.
Gave to pressure very fast.
Eager to get her treats
Easily loosens whole body to do a nice sidepass w front and back moving well.
Fun to work with because does learn easily.
