I love my mare. I have owned her since she was 4 months old. She is very social and my bud. If she could out for coffee or shopping. I am sure she would. She is such a girl in a good way. She is awesome!!

What has me smitten? Their character; their beauty; their temperament; the light in their eyes. Every Hano that I've met is so wonderfully social and eager to please, including my boy who simply melts my heart with his incredible personality. Okay ... he can be opinionated sometimes, but he also quickly sees reason. I am simply and hopelessly in love with this beautiful breed ... :-)

Visited a small Hanoverian breeding farm last evening. Am more smitten than ever. Now thinking of joining the Hanoverian Society here in Canada. :-)

Tragically 10 young Hanoverians and an 8 year old prized mare at Highland farm in Orillia were killed in an early morning blaze on Sunday March 4th. Apparently the fire engulfed the barn quickly and sadly the horses were inside.

Please hug your Hano today ...

My heartfelt condolences to all those involved ...

my young boy- a 2 year old donnerhall great grandson was champion young sport horse at one a & p show this year, out of 2. he won his 2 yr old class at both, and got a 1st and 3rd in the best regd classes at each. not too shabby... for a short ass. and better than his full sister ever did. although she's lovely under saddle, and all instructors have commented on her lovely conformation... go hanoverians!
