I've never heard of one for horses. The problem with mine is that sometimes my back muscles sieze up--like this morning.
I dream of a portable light weight air conditioner that de-humidifies and cools the air I breath. Combine that with my ice vest then I would not melt as bad!
May you get Zuckie back to soundness soon.
We are waiting for signs that Mia's stone bruise is better, she is still limping some at the trot, so I mostly walk.
Good for you, Jackie. Its been beautiful here the last week or so but, wouldn't you know, Zuckie came up lame and was on bute and stall rest. He seems OK now but I've put him on Glucosamine Plus in the hopes of keeping further lameness at bay. We're back to riding but I'm taking it very easy - good for us both now its hot.
An ice vest? I've never seen one of those but it sounds like a great idea. Do they make them for horses, too?
Yes, I just had a lesson this morning. Started at 8 AM, had to rasped the toes down, rode 30 minutes and was just about melted in the saddle inspite of wearing my ice vest.
I hope you are spending all your spare time riding, Sieze the day!
Ha ha, Jackie. That's cute.
I know there's been no posts for forever on here, but I've noticed traffic has slowed or ground to a halt all over Barn Mice. Maybe we're all too busy working with our horses (and even riding) to spend much time on line? How are you doing? Are you riding?
Hey, you guys still alive? Its been 10 months.
Maybe everything is bright in the male English riding world and you guys are being looked up to like you should be looked up to.
