- Why spend time on Facebook when you can find a site where everyone loves horses?! I've been riding since I was a kid (with the usual gaps for work and family responsibilities). I now own an American Quarter Horse mare whom I share with one of my best friends. We ride both dressage and Western, and keep on trying to improve ourselves and her ... as well as just having a great time at the barn!

I have a Quarter Horse that is also registered as a Buckskin but he's about the color of a shiney penny. Got him when I was over 50 and he was not quite 3 but already well trained. But as a newbie we have gone thru much between 3 and 8 and it's been great learning together. We're buds.
