A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
Why spend time on Facebook when you can find a site where everyone loves horses?! I've been riding since I was a kid (with the usual gaps for work and family responsibilities). I now own an American Quarter Horse mare whom I share with one of my best friends. We ride both dressage and Western, and keep on trying to improve ourselves and her ... as well as just having a great time at the barn!

Do you have any pets?
Two lovely cats as well as the horse.

The picture on My Page is now MY horse ... everyone, meet Leota's Leo (her registered name) or Princess Leo as she is known around the barn. That probably tells you something about her personality. She is the most social horse ever, adores all boy horses, and expects all humans to give her constant attention and, preferably, treats! How can you not love a gal like that!

Welcome to Barnmice Barb. I agree this is better then Facebook and there are lots of good groups to join that stay pretty active.
I have a Quarter Horse that is also registered as a Buckskin but he's about the color of a shiney penny. Got him when I was over 50 and he was not quite 3 but already well trained. But as a newbie we have gone thru much between 3 and 8 and it's been great learning together. We're buds.
Enjoy! Shirley
