the people that do these kind of things are the elusive ones, but i am keeping positive and putting it out there for these people to slip up and be caught. Thank you for your support and your welcoming words :)
barbara I'm a virgin when it comes to e-mail and this thing called a computer. My computer is old when it is done it could become a dog house for a shitsue! so could not hear from me except loud noises from my house in Pontypool! So I do hope to keep informed with you and other little furry scurry mice. Barby, what a sweet baby she is :-) But babies grow up and you can't ride a baby are you willing to wait till she is ready? To put in the extra money it takes to have her trained? or do it yourself? At our age we need to be realistic because we have no time to be anything else. It would be terrible for both of you if she didn't work out a year or two down the road. One thing I've been considering with my 6 is where they will go when I am no longer there to care for them. All but 2 will still be alive when I am too sore to ride anymore (wheelchair bound). Sad to think of but a reality for me due to the many crashes and hard riding and living I've done. Something maybe to consider also. I think you've made a good choice in a draft cross, but I think one older with more experience would be more fun for you and less frustrating since you already have waited so long to get back in the saddle. Sorry to be a downer :-( but I wanted to be honest.
Thanks for the warm welcome. My website is pretty old - am currently working away on a new design which I'm hoping to get live over the weekend. At the moment my website is primarily a blog, but it will be expanding! - Chloé
Sure Barbara, I will be happy to look at any pics you post. Send an email to lanyonriding@skymesh.com.au and we can discuss a riding holiday. That would be fun. Cheers Geoffrey
