Your Andalusians are truly beautiful. How very fortunate you are to have such gorgeous horses. In my next life, I think I'll try one of those. *laughing* Right now I'm happy with my big 17+ chestnut Hanoverian gelding (Loewenhart) and my small Welsh pony (Venus). Unfortunately I don't have my own place and must board my horses at a boarding facility. I ride dressage on my big fella and my grandchildren (ages 4 and 7) ride the pony. I feel very blessed to have horses in my life and will ride until I can't haul myself up on them anymore.
I was lucky enough to spend a week in Spain on a riding vacation--riding a beautiful Lusitano. I would love to own an Iberian, but they're so expensive here(eastern Canada)!!
My beautiful boy is a warmblood cross-thoroughbred/irish sport horse and he's almost as good!!
i started a ning group after JCR's passing for his former students to keep in touch and share their memories. Some people have started to post some clinic photos. We also have a forum with some correspondence on his saddles that are coming up on the used market. Feel free to join http://ridinginlightness.ning.com
Never, in my entire life, have I ever met another person who spelled Ellin with the "i"! That's amazing.
I am so "for" the type of dressage you describe. My dressage horse (retired) is an Arabian. I would love to learn more about the Andalusian horse.
Thanks for becoming my friend

Beautiful!!! - I love Iberian horses. I find them very fun to ride, challenging, but fun. They take care of you.
I noticed there is a group for posting horses for sale. Why don't you put some photos of your lovely sport horses for sale.
