Hi Fiona!

I like that you mentioned your boy is cheeky ... so is mine!!!! He offers big toothy grins at the slightest provocation, and loves ... I mean"loves" ... the new barn dog, Sasha. They've been caught licking each others' noses more than once. :-)

Hi! My boy, Ben is an Irish Draught x Hanoverian so although he's registered as an Irish Sports Horse and has a ID registration, he has also got some fantastic Hanoverian bloodlines, too. He's got that lovely curvy-ness of the Hanoverian breed and a beautiful floaty trot. He's a cheeky chappy too, as you can see from the photo.

here in nz, i am just starting delphi's 4 yr old show seaon. she got a 3rd in her 1st show with almost 67% so that was encouraging, and she is very relaxed and focused. she has qualified for the larger shows with that mark. our next show is dec 20 and we are trying the fei 4 yr old test. she isn't really 4 till jan 27, so she's doing quite well.

So, I'm just wondering how everyone's show season went. I took my boy out to his first show in May and he was a star. His big problem was me and my nerves. I'm glad to say that our second test went better than our first. ;-) We didn't show again because I wanted to continue focusing on basics at home. We've got a breakthrough happening right now that has me really excited. I'm fairly new to dressage and Bear's been trained so well he's waiting for me to catch up!!! This is a very exciting time in our evolving relationship :-) and I'm looking forward to more positive show experiences in the years to come.

I have 2 fab Hanoverians - both Pik Bube grand sons & have the best qualities of the P line. If you check out my profile there are picks of them, including the baby's first competition.

I call my mare Belmont, while everyone at the barn still calls her Nikki because they have known her since she was 4 so old habits die hard. Her show name is Fashionably Late. She's 11 years old now. I have had her for a year and this will be our first year showing together, which I am very excited about. We will be doing hunter classes. I believe she is an American Hanoverian, I think she came from a farm somewhere in Oregon. I have her papers, just not with me.

Hi Dorothy! Thank you for your invitation to be a member of Hanoverian Lovers. So here i am...lol
I love my Hano Amigo, because sometimes he does so funny things. And i love his temperament. You wouldnt believe he is 21 years old. Does somebody know "Bent Branderup"?
