Hi, no I was talking to one of my friends this week and she is heading to the States for about 2 months riding there. geeesh. Another is tied up for August mostly with one thing or another and besides that she works. Anothers horse has been very close to founder. Things are just not happening. I don't know what to tell you. I am still hoping that I can get a couple of places lined up for my riding anyway. I am not against heading out alone, I do it all of the time but it is nice to have a plan for places to stop and ride. I know that there is a place that I can stay overnight in Shelburne. I think that you might be close to there...not sure I have forgotten. So I will take that into consideration when I make my plans.

ok! Someone finally made us a group of 2. Good going. At least we can talk to each other. Have you made your plans yet for the rest of August as I can likely join you for a day or so if there is a b and b near by. Weekends only for me as I still sell ads for a regional farm paper. Cheers! Gail.

O.K. gang we are looking for some more members here to get this group going. We won't tell anyone if you are not quite 60 yet, you will make it sooner or later. step up and give us some stories of riding and keeping a horse on Our Old Age Security. that is a challenge.

Hi there well now there are 2 members. I just found this group, I guess I don't explore the website enough. Lol Yes I am well into my 60's and still ride. I try to get out there and explore new trails and new camping areas, so far I have been pretty lucky with finding good riding areas and enough horsie friends with a hay field that they don't mind someone living in for a few days. It is great fun, I just hope that I can continue with what I am doing till I can join the over 70's riders group. lol
