I joined the over 50 group first. TBH I was embarrassed to say I am over 60 when I honestly feel 36! But if Janie Savoie can join, all I have to say is You Go Janie!!

Where are these places. No for vacation time in the next 3 weeks as I sell ad space for a farm paper. 2 weeks to sell and one week to clear ie the end of Sept. Space of 1 week there if that is more info to work with! Gil

Since it has been pouring rain most of the day (not complaining 'cause we need it) I have been on the computer trying to figure something out for the ride I know the Hullet Marsh, and we can park there and ride out, but the weekends are sometimes busy with groups and clubs things I hate to get in their way. The same with most of the other conservation places. There is the Trans Canada Trail System that goes through all parts of Ontario. That might be an option. I know that I found where it adjoins the GRCA trails and maybe even the Bruce Trail. That might be an option too. You don't have a vacation day stored up do you where we could do this mid week or not on the weekend. I hate getting mixed up with all of the groups, traffic, parking my huge rig in a busy itty bitty postage stamp sized lot when there are kids, dogs and bicycles running around and not looking. I am currently focusing in on the Elora Grand River Area Bruce Trail and Trans Canada. Got any input there.

Looks like we are finding a few over 60's who are slowly joining in! Good! Gail.

Hi Eileen: That would be a good idea and then if you trust my old man on a trail ride we can all get what we want . He has not had time to teach me to haul as yet. Let me know what you find and what you think,

O,K, I think that I understand now. lol Sometimes they have to draw me a picture for me to "get it" lol
If I am imcorporating more that a days rding I will be taking only one horse with me, much less to look after. However if it was just an afternoon ride not a problem taking two horses. Maybe we could find a place that is closer to half way for both of us to ride that way you or I don't have to worry about staying overnight anywhere. I will let you know what I come up with.

Eileen, it is a woman, lol. But I do know a guy over 60 who is very interesting. I will mention it to him, too.

My husband does not have a horse anymore so he is the hauler without the horse. Do you take 2 with you ie horses? He is good rider but just short of funds. He would love to ride with us but ok if not. Better in the morning as it is cooler. Gail Morse

I have own trailer and truck. Just have not learned to haul as yet. The old man will take me and bring me back. Only 40 minutes from there and can make that trip fur SURE! Give me as much warning as possible and as log as there is not really bad weather I can be there. Pisses me off that there are no cans though for my old behind!
