I love your stories Laura. I told you these Canadians are a horse of a different colour. They really love to be with us. And so curious . Ihate it when they come back covered in mud , looking like someone smeared pancake batter all over them. I couldn't take the constant nasal infections brushing them out so I put in a large fine stone winter coral for them and only let them out to the back 20 when the ground freezes. Maggie is adorable. You should try one of those big green balls. I bet she would love it. There is a funny you tube video of a foal playing with the ball. It will make you laugh.

Thankyou. :) I do think she knows it too. Tee hee. Today was special. I went out to spend some time with her and her buddy Bailey (The other horse in the pic). Bailey wasn't feeling well, gassy...better now after chasing her around and some gasX  (Too much ice not enough moving around...according to my vet)

...Meanwhile who do you suppose has knocked every brush off of the pedestal in the ring? Hmmm....Magie was picking up every brush and analyzing it...she loves being groomed....but actually I just think it's the attention she really loves.

Of course after I groom her and make her all pretty again...the first thing she does is go roll to 'reorganize' her hair! LOL

Okay I give up. I was trying to get better pics of Magie, but this one is a couple of weeks ago of her wearing her bells, and unfortunately she just rolled in the muck...not a lot of snow around still....Her front end has now caught up to her back end again.  Hard to believe a year ago she was just a dream to me. Now she is 9mo old!  My little monkey.... :)

One of our riders brought her little brother over to meet our Canadian Horses at Serenity Glade Stables. He was home for Christmas from our Canadian Army. Such a proud moment. Canadian Meets Canadian.

War horse starts Sunday. Can't wait to see it. Merry Christmas to everyone. And have a Happy, safe and healthy New Year. Because without your health, nothing else matters.
