It's been a long time since I've written a blog on here, things have gotten crazy busy, but in a great way. After a very long winter in Northern Ontario that had all of the residents thinking that maybe, just maybe it would never end, it did. We still got snow on June 3rd, but it didn't stay!

This is pretty close to my heart right now. With most of Northern Ontario under fire, many people face the chances of evacuation, and not many are prepared. I am absolutely dumbfounded by the amount of people who are not prepared for situations where your pets need to be evacuated, or that there is some form of contingincy plan.

I know, I know, I was born with them. But for most of my life I've been a plus person. I've ranged everywhere from 180 to 356 at my highest, I'm around the 260 mark right now, give or take a pound or 5 depending on the day. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw more than just my toes when I looked down. Well, yesterday I looked down, and not only did I have toes... but I had feet and ankles!
