Hi, Mojo's first show away from home was the NEDA fall festival at HITS.
It was very exciting for the boy -who has mostly been trail ridden all
summer. Mojo saw tents, booths, golf carts, bright colored jumps, bridges,
horses and people everywhere, blowing garbage bags, tank trucks watering
the grounds,and flower baskets everywhere. He heard horses calling,
loudspeakers, music, lawn mowers and more.

We entered the Saddlebred IBC class where Mojo won!
His score was good -75.9
We entered the Material class and the Dressage prospects class which were
both under saddle. Despite the fact that Mojo was tense and distracted by
the big flapping flags near the ring he did his job and I stayed on. We
were 3 0f 3 in the material class. His score was 70.

We did some nice -uncalled for- flying changes from right to left leads in
both classes. I thought we should get bonus points. But alas, the judges
were not impressed.

The next day we got into a Training Level 3 class from the waiting list.
Mojo was really pretty good and fairly focused, except when a big lawn

mower appeared over the hill heading toward him during his right lead canter (of course). The score wasn't great for this test,-a 57%- but I was
quite happy that Mojo was trying to do his job, and I remembered all the
movements.
