Good idea Barnmice! I am a certified Equine Canada Coach in both English and Western disciplines. I also love to drive and would be interested in helping others along in teaching their horse to drive. It is all about horsemanship no matter what discipline you participate in. Currently living in Alberta, but moving to Ontario next year to the Madoc area.

Hey all!! I am and Equine Canada Western Coach and Mentor. Coach since 2000, and one of the orignal 4 in Alberta to get Mentor status! I have 4 quarter horses at the moment as I am raising a young family of my own, so it is easier to keep things small. I am coaching several students though, about 12 in the summer months and 3 in the fall. I also judge some of the local shows as it is an easier way for me to stay on the show scene than showing myself right now!!!

Hello to all. I'm new to the site, but am very keen to participate. It is a wonderful opportunity to share our knowledge, and have the ability to get feedback from other riding instructors/coaches. I look forward to being a part of this.
I am an Equine Canada Coach 1, and a Balimo Instructor (Balance in Motion - the program which was founded by Prof. Eckart Meyners in Germany).

I agree Debbie! I think we can really help each other out if we network our skills. So glad you joined.

I think this is a great idea!Sharing lesson plans or our approach to different types of "learners" and problem solving.Having each others experiences to learn from can only make us better instructors.
