Jan, so sorry about your wrist! But I am glad you are now able to type and ride!! I read on the other post what happened. ouch....
I wish you a very speedy recovery. Be patient with yourself as you get your feel back, but as soon as the Doc says it is healed, don't be afraid to push the envelope of range of motion and strengthening exercises. It will hurt at first, but keep at it. :-)

Hey all... thanks for all the good feedback on Program Your Position...Jane and I JUST decided to give another bonus and give a personal picture critique on your position after you receive your program if you like, so you know EXACTLY which images and buzzwords to use! Woohoo!!

Hi, everyone:

I'm just getting back into discussions as my fractured wrist now lets me (sort of) type (and sort of ride). I get the cast off and pins out tomorrow (not looking forward to the pins out part) and then I'm off to a clinic with Bert Rutten.

Welcome to all of you who are new to dressage! You are joining a wonderful group of people. Mary McGuire Smith has given Robbie great information, and I'd invite all of you newbies in the US check out the USDF website and locate GMO's in your areas. It's a good way to start. In Canada you can access Dressage Canada and local area groups that way. I'm not sure what the Para group is called in the US (I should know, I just sent the link last week to somebody but my menopausal brain has just forgotten it) but in Canada you can find it listed on the Equine Canada website or by searching Para Equestrian Canada on Google.

TTYL,

Jan

Hi! I'm new to Barnmice, and just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Pearl City, IL and break and train German Riding Ponies and Warmbloods for Bell Oaks Farm. I love dressage, especially as I am having more appreciation for it than I did 5 years ago.

Hi Robbie, and welcome to the board! Congratulations on your interest in dressage! I would love to hear more about your and your mare, in terms of what you have been doing until this point; do you take lessons presently; have you joined your local GMO (group member organization of the United States Dressage Federation); and anything else you would like to share. I do give clinics in the TAG (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia) area, so if you would like to see more about who I am and what my credentials are, visit my website at http://www.iride.at for more information. You may also email me directly at mary@iride.at I have a home and property in N. Alabama, and Nashville is not too far away, if you need some help. Good luck!

Hi just joined this group where I am hoping to pick up some useful tips! My horse and I are currently competing with Interdressage.com as we can't get to shows! Good fun and still a nice way to win some rosettes and get all the feedback from judges! :-)
