Hi Sherry, here in Ireland, I use cattle fly tags on our horses halters & bridles at home. We only use fly spray at shows. Fly tags need to be replaced ever 4 to 6 weeks. All started with our school horses not liking the spray, so I would spray body brush & brush on to the nervous ones. Then, New Zealand rider gave me this idea. Hope this is of help. Let me know. Liz
Hi there,
If anyone has pictures of their draft cross's as 3-4 yr olds and then pictures of them when they are older please post them! wondering how my boy is going to fill out..hes only 3 1/2 now. Thanks!!
My beautiful Percheron x QH (in my profile pic) is sadly for sale. Due to health reasons, I am just no longer able to manage such a strong, big boy!
He is currently with a USDF gold medalist dressage trainer in Southern California. She can be reached for more information at http://jadressage.com/ .
Hope everyone out there is loving their draft crosses! I am devistated to have to sell mine, he is truly a one in a million horse!
Just finalized the purchase of my second draft x. :-) I bought a 1/4 Belgian x 3/4 QH who rides and drives as a trail mount for hubby, and for me to learn to drive with. Hubby bought me a 2-seater cutter for Christmas which arrived from Quebec on Friday; now I'm on the hunt for a harness for the new guy so I can hook him up. I think I"m heading for Brubacher's or Martin's this week..... :-)
Anyhow, love my draft x's - great minds!!!
