I love my paints also. I have had a few but I have 2 now that are the greatest. My ones name is Peppy Bo Jagger and he is the most loving gentle horse I have had and anyone can ride hime down to my 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter. I also have a tri-colored mare that I barrel race and she also has the sweet kind loving attitude as Jagger

I just got a new horse 2 weeks ago and he's a paint.
I love him to death, he's soo pretty and so amazing. His one eye is half blue and half brown.
I also have some mini pintos.

Hi there,
Two years ago a family friend of my husbands mentioned to sell her well trained horse she had due to changes in her life. I had been talking bout horses but had never owned one, hardly ridden (paid trail rides, count on one hand over last ten years).
He turned to me and said "Tamara , you're looking for a horse, weren't you?"
(SHOCK) We had never gotten that far in any discussions.... UHH, Do you know what you're saying, honey?
Needless to say, he figured there would always be a return anytime or free help with the horse policy. Probably the only way I would've ever gotten a horse, now Im living the dream.......lol . I mean Im climbing the steepest learning curve in my life.

Would like to introduce myself - My name is Michele and I also answer to me-and-Cisco. Cisco is my paint mare, 6 years old this summer. I got her 3 years ago after I went on a cattle drive in Saskatchewan. Yes, she is a Saskatchewan girl! We live in Carluke, outside of Ancaster, Ontario. I am a "mature" rider and my favourite thing to do is go trail riding. Since owning Cisco I have gone through a few health issues, and I am a breast cancer survivor! So, Cisco has alot of different "pink" things, her halter, her lead rope, etc. She is one of the things that keeps me smiling! Look forward to getting to know the other riders on this board!

;)

There are horses that do not think the little fences are worth worrying about. Are you lungeing him over the jumps just in a cavesson, or are you using side reins too? Do you lunge over jumps with a saddle on? Do not use side reins (I am not saying…

Where did I state that medival dressage was humane and correct? I have stipulated that the SRS under Podhajsky presented dressage more correctly. I know who Kottas is and he is not a horseman! Podhajsky was a horseman and even General Patton was a h…

Hi Guys,One of the biggest mistakes riders make when we're trying to overcome horseback riding fears is that we direct our efforts toward the conscious mind. You know--willpower, iron-jawed determination. The problem with that strategy is that you c…
