I am an Athletic Therapist ( a cross between a personal trainer and a Physiotherapist) and an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (the advanced normalization of the entire body using soft-tissue techniques).
I specialize in all musculoskeletal injuries ranging from chronic back pain to dislocations and fractures. My clientele includes weekend warriors to Olympic level athletes (including some of the members of the Women's Olympic Hockey team: Go Girls Go!).
I assess, treat, educate all of my clientele on their specific body imbalances and work with them to make them better athletes.
I've always been a fan of riding but have never been able to have it as a hobby. Currently, I treat numerous riders in retraining their bodies to sit better in their saddle and how to cross train to make their riding even better.
In my spare time, I work out of Women's College Hospital, teach Karate and have my private practice from home.
In my other spare time I am a mom to two beautiful children, Nathaniel (2 years old) and Vittoria (8 months old).
I came across your page , and wanted to introduce myself and my hobby.
My name is Gary Glaser and I am the mounted commander of the 9th New York Cavalry and live in Binbrook, not to far from you . I belong to a group of equine enthusiasts that enjoy living historians and American civil war, we are the 9th NY cavalry.
The Ninth New York Cavalry has been reactivated by ain the portrayal of the life of the Federal Horse Soldier. As a group, we participate in living history encampments, re-enactments, and giving informative lectures throughout the year in both Ontario and the U.S.
Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby girl! I saw her darling picture at the dojo, and she is just a doll!!!!!
Am going back and forth to NY, as my dad has been quite sick, so I haven't had a moment until now to connect. Will fill you in on all the details but in the meantime, hope you are getting some sleep! xo
I posted a question on the advice section (about a numb foot problem). Barbara suggested you might have something to add. Feel free to check out the advice section in forums, I'd love to hear your input!
