Well well well, what a lovely website!

I don't know why, but school just drags on and on! I'm so tired, and all I want to do is get down to the Stables to be around the horses. But nooooo. I have to sit on my laptop doing Enlgish. Who really cares if a character is 2D or 3D? Not me.

Only 20 hours until I can go see the ponies again. I know I sound desperate, but seriously, more than 2 weeks without horses, and I cannot stop talking about them!

In December 2009, I moved Shadow to his new home. Unfortunately at the time, he was suffering from an infection in his hoof, which we have been treating with the help of hot poultices, aloe vera, onion water, and some flower remedies.

Inspiration from Indy too!

I am very good at catching things. I mean VERY good at it! It makes me feel good to snag flying tennis balls out of the air.

I've been swimming a lot too. I wasn't sure I could swim at first, but I took a chance and leaped into the water. I found out quickly that I’m a good swimmer! Some things you’re naturally good at. Some things you have to work at.

Either way, doing something really well is very good for your inner being.

For those of you that live in a warm climate you can skip over this tip but for those of us battling the winter weather and freezing temperatures you might want to read this.

AHAEC High Point Award

Bask N Coins+/ just racked up another award for the 2009 distance season. As members of the Arabian Horse Assciation of Eastern Canada (AHAEC) we qualify for their Year End High Point Awards. If Only I Were Younger

Due to the frigid weather and the bitter North winds I only got to ride once this week. My teacher, Debbie, is from Pennsylvania, so a little north wind does not bother her! Mia is not quite as tough, she just did not like the cold wind, especially when it blew right into her face. Lazy Horse? Behind the Leg? or Tense Rider?

Often people who come to my clinics complain that their horse is lazy. They say things like: "He doesn't want to go," or "Even my trainer has problems getting my horse to go."
