I hope everyone had a good weekend. Sunday was a beautiful fall day in Northern Ontario. The sun was warm, the air was still and the leaves are just starting to get a hint of colour. We took a relaxing trail ride. Belle even decided to lead the group, not her usual strong point. Fall riding has to be my favourite!

I know what you mean. We are in the forest alone and all over the place alone having been taught by a man who believes the human has to be a good leader and taught mutual respect and trust to his clients. When I am not in the middle of a deadline for a farm paper I will take a better look at your site. Gail.

Hi Gail! The site: www.naturalpaths.org has lots of info on horses and dogs, and the www.dharmahorse.com site has an Articles page with free downloads of dozens of articles from national horse magazines (the rights have reverted to me or always were mine). I recently added a Missouri Foxtrotter to our herd of BLM mare and TB gelding, etc! I love him!

Hi Katherine: I went quickly to your site and will likely order one of the handbooks. I found it interesting that you talk about gaited horses being good for aches and pains etc. I bought a Rocky 9 years ago for that very reason and he is a gem. Gail.

The site store is www.shop.naturalpaths.org. It is a division of Dharma Horse. We had all over 40's at our clinics (except one lady brought her 35 year old daughter - we welcomed her, the kid!) I teach mostly 70 year old+ riders (!), some kids and one 80 year old man! So cool

Hi Katherine: What is the company you work for and how old is an Elderquestrian? What is the site store so we can see the Ebook? Cheers! Gail. I will be starting a Pensioners group in 2 weeks so I hope that qualifies for the Elderquestrian!

We have a concept at our company called "Elderquestrians"! We have been teaching clinics, have a handbook (Ebook) on our site store and are working on a book for a major publisher. This is just wonderful - horses appreciate maturity, don't they!
