Not only does Mom not know anything, but if you tell them to correct something, you are picking on them. Way too personal coming from a Parent. My son does much better with his instructor, and better yet if Mom is not watching (or so he thinks ;).

Good planning on your part Catherin to get someone else other than Mom to teach your daughter. Her ears may work better with someone else. You know how kids always behave better for strangers. lol...I know I alwasy did. so my mother said. What ever works .

Eileen thats why I get my niece to teach my 8 yr old daughter. apart from mummy doesnt know what shes talking about :) its easier to leave it to my niece to get on with, she the chief instructor at the localy pony club so figure she has more know how than me

Hi there Gail, to start a topic Click on "Start Discussion" toward the top part of a group page. :)

If you go to the top of this page and click on Groups you will get to a page that has all the groups. At the top of that page in the task bar (I think) there is an option for adding a group. That's where you need to go.

I hear ya about throwing the kid up the tree. I would never make a good teacher, 'cause if it was me and the kid was whining because the ball was waaaay up there...well my comment would be "Your game, your ball, your problem" and walked away.. but like I said I am not a teacher,.

The shoulder is 85% and I am getting packed to leave for a show tomorrow. Wine and Aleve are packed, comtemplating on taking the blender for margaritas in the evening.

Jenny I am turning green with envy here and that ride. It sounds soooo great. I will have to check it out on the site. I am trying to visualize you climbing a tree with a skirt and dress shoes. There has got to be a special talent for that. Have a good trip and please let us know all about it when you get back...pictures would be a bonus.
