Inspirational horse blog gets syndicated and goes national. way too cool http://dailyoats.wordpress.com/

See for yourself how wonderful this site is and be totally inspired by the love of your horse. Great horse stories and life lessons. See you there.

For any one who does not know, there is also an over 60's group. It is not as active as this one though. Gail.

Hi.. I just joined Barnmice and this group and find my overall strength and flexibility has deteriorated over the last few years. I am 45 and just started Ashtanga Yoga using a DVD at home. It has helped me already. I highly recommend Yoga.. if you can do it in a yoga facility that is ideal I think but for me doing a practice at home 4-5 times weekly is a little easier. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Lise,
Im riding a 9 yr old AQHA gelding. 16h. I started going to the gym this week and Yoga. I did all the necessary physio which was a definite plus. I'm hoping the extra exercise and Yoga will help with my overall fitness..

What are you riding Anne Marie?

Wow, Anne-Marie, you really got banged up. Take it easy starting back, it can take a while to get strength back. Being careful and not overdoing it now will contribute to not aching so much as you get older and older.

I have just recovered from a broken collar bone, 3 broken ribs and bruised hip. I wasnt even on my horse! I was bringing him in and he was behind me, spooked and ran right through me (literally). Have been off for 3 months just started riding again at beg of January. I love my horse, but wonder if I should be riding something else....
