We're waiting for a good snowfall to cover the trails so we can ride out. Right now we are in a freeze, thaw cycle that is making everything really slippery - so we're stuck indoors. However, at least there is that option! Now if we could just get some sunshine...

We're back to the rain here on the West Coast. It does make riding difficult in the winter but I don't know if I could deal with months of below freezing temperatures and not seeing any green for forever. Poor Edmonton!

Just a quick Christmas greeting to all you horse lovers. I hope you can enjoy some fun time with your equine buddies over the holidays. Up here where the snow is getting deep, it's important to do more than just feed them and clean up after them in order to remember why we got into horses. So, I will try to throw a saddle on my Bellefille and check out the woods now that the trails are covered with snow. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Karen; No experperience with that saddle, only a treeless version of theirs about 10 years ago. It was expensive, made reasonably well but wasn't great.

Vicki,
Well done; now go show up those young pups!

Does anyone have experience with the Circle Y Flex Lite western saddles? I've not been a big fan of Circle Y in the past but this is newer technology. My Billy Cook reiner no longer fits my horse. He's rather broad in the shoulders with a fairly high wither. My friend's Otho-Flex fits him but they are harder to get in Canada. Thoughts?
